Had nothing but trouble with these rainbow components.
I thought it was a dodgy earth to my amp but it obviously isn't. Spoke to the shop i bought them from who have been good and said it sounds like a faulty tweeter and/or crossover so i need to send them both back to them so they can repair or replace them.
Cant be bothered with puttin it back together to have to strip it down again though when they arrive.
On the plus side, the passenger side component set still sounds good lmfao.

passenger airbag is turned off.
it takes about 15mins to take all that off believe it or not.
