Grinding noise from new wheels

After fitting a set of dynamique alloys today, there is a grinding/rattle type of noise coming from the nearside rear. It either only happens when turning right or just becomes a lot more noticable when turning right.
I've tried resitting the offending wheel, greasing the wheel and hub area, but to no avail :dapprove:
Gonna try changing the bolts next, but gotta wait for the rain to stop first.
Any ideas as to what it could be?

Also, i've read about people being advised to spin the wheel when the car is jacked up, but what's the best/safest way to jack a car up with the handbrake off?

Thanks for the quick replies guys. You look spot on as well. The liner on the nearside for some reason is a lot closer to the tyre than the offside.
What's the cure then?

Thanks guys :)

Just had another look. Think i might just have to lop off a section of it.

Edit: or i could do that. lol

Gotta wait for the feckin rain to stop either way.

  Escort GTi, Fiesta XR2i.
If its not the above problem, it could be the bearings, are you 100% its coming from the rear?

Definitely from the rear. Certainly looks to be the arch liner. Will try to move it tomorrow and report back if that doesn't sort it.
Don't think it'd be likely that the bearing goes on the same day i change wheels.
