well your superchip remap was probably a generic map so not really optimising your engine. There are a few traders here that will do a proper live map and sort your car on a rolling road. Calling it a 'Group N' map would probably get you the same result but cost you £100 more.

any traders recomended on here, any ideas wot sort of prices.......1 company on the net is claimin 15bhp lol r we allowed 2 use names, cheers

15 BHP is either plain optimistic or is one of those "upto 15 BHP in rare circumstance if you happened to have several thousand £ of other mods but were still using the standard map" type advertisments.

Please name names as cliosport.net really does enjoy laughing at people/companies who claim to give you "15 brake wid k + N air filter zorst an stage 7 remap." It's also worth mentioning no decent claims are valid without a solid before & after RR print out as the F4R engines are very expensive to get power out of due to their design. The best thing you will get from a remap is not outright power but increased torque low down leading to a smoother power curve which is easier to put down on the road.

I notice remapscience claims 195 BHP.

If you only have a aftermarket exhaust/ De-cat and decent air filter/ set up ( Itg maxogen in my case) then IMO you're better off saving your money and going for a RS tuner, or generic map.

'live' maps are needed (better) if you have aggressive cams etc...

Never heard of them before..

Like Revels said. TDF, or RS tuning would be your best bet for the Clio if you want a 'live' map!
