H&R Coilover Problems

Car  182ff
Hi guys, long time viewer first time poster but I need a bit help.
Bought a set of H&R coilovers from k-tec and got them fitted of a sort at the weekend, the problem I am having is with the rear, I think my mechanic said it's the adjustment nut's or something that won't fit on, he said something bout maybe having to cut a piece of the car which I'm not keen on (sorry not very technically minded). They are fitted but because the adjustment part is not on they are sitting as low as they will go. Which looks great but is causing no end of rubbing, especilly if someone else is in the car with me. Does anyone know if there is a different bit I can get that will fit or maybe I have been sent the wrong part?
Any help with this would be great

Should look like that when fitted.

Do you have the parts similar to these on the right?

Thanks for the quick reply mate but your photo's don't really make any sense to me, like I said not very tecnically minded, and I'm not going out to check them in the dark and snow, I'll have a look on my lunch tommorrow and hopefully can shed some light on the matter, I know I've ben a bit vauge with the discription of my problem, is it possible that it's maybe the wrong set I've been sold as my car is a ff182 but it has the cup pack?
Thanks again

Did you not get any fitting instructions?

My pictures show exactly how they fit, as you can see no cutting is involved.

Bin the lower OE rubber.

The rear suspension will be the same on all sport models, Cup packs only mean you have a slightly shorter/stiffer spring.

instructions don't come with them, zee germans assume the person fitting them has some common sense

You still have those bits in the box :O

You taken the rubber bottom to the original spring assembly out?

Yeah still in the box, the mechanic has used something else to make thm fit at the moment but looking at the pictures on the other post I'm now a bit worried, and yeah no fitting instructions in the box, common sense I have but mechanical knowledge I don't

not sure mate, I'll have to have a look tommorrow when I'm at work, it's a bit dark and snowy out there just now to be crawling aout under my car

Ur mechanic is gash!! with exception of mfi furniture u shouldnt have extra bits!!

Fully aware of the fact I should not have parts left over, as was he, he just cold not figure out how they fitted and I said I would ask around and get back to him, thanks for the productive input though, big help

Did not want to try and fit them myself cause if I messed it up I've only got myself to blame, although after all this I'm kind of wishing I had, and it's got the original set back on for now at least till I can get a look at it now I've got an idea on how it should look

I have the exact same problem with my h&r's mate. my mechanic didnt have a clue where to put those things!! so im driving around without them in!! Big Iain how much would you be looking for to fit these? i would really really appreciate it. i live near glasgow...

Yeah it's looking that way, on another note I'm out looking at mine just now and I don't have the room for the bottom adjuster to fit in, I've took the pin out dropped it in the hole and now just have to screw the other bit back on but there is not enough room for it, not near as much as the above picture shows anyway, I'm getting really pissed of with these now and I think I'll be binning them shortly
