Had service and MOT today :(

Cost me £304.70 bugger that annoyed me. How much does it usually cost people on here for a service and mot. Had to have new brakes and snapped a coil in the suspension btw, with the labour bumped the price right up.

Lucky it wasnt from Renault!! Was a reasonable rate for the work they done: full service, plug to 2 tyres with nails in, brakes, pads, calipers, coils.. Still alot of money tho. Mr. overdraft must me grinning away at me again this month

There was a lot of work that needed doing as well.

Full service should have been £119.

ouch, couldve saved alot of money there.

New suspension kits are only around the 200 mark, calipers shouldve been fine but if not then theres plenty of people with old 1.2/1.4 calipers etc (i have a set as i upgraded to the 16v setup) pads are cheap enough, and easy to fit.

Still, i wont let any sod work on my car, unless its too bigger job for me.. i.e welding
