Halfords Colour polish

Found my dad had some lying about. The black stuff. My car is in a state anyway with the arrival of the g220, so i figured id have a play on my bonnet. Did the whole bonnet in srp first, then polished some of the chips with the black polish. IMO its okay, aside from the fact it stains everything, it covers the stone chips very well. I then applied a layer of jeffs sealant stuff, and a layer of supernatural.


Anything to say about it ? Im expecting my pain to have turned white tomrorow. Really im expecting it to have eaten away at the other lsp's covering it.

The guy I got my GTi of used it (he kindly left it in the boot for me) - had swirled the finish to hell !

so its an abrasice polish, a bit like t cut ?

eg. pieces of small rock.

The one in the boot of mine was like a coloured T Cut yes.

If you put on some surgical gloves, put some in your hands and rub your fingers together, it feels like swarfega!

Horrible stuff, but dead handy for me covering up scratches on the forecourt!

I did a little poo in the Shell garage when filling up with petrol and seeing the state of my car on Collection !
