Head unit not saving presets

hey i bought a sendai 789 head unit for my old corsa and the guy sed to make it save presets i would have to swap the red and yellow wires. I did that and it worked fine. now im putting it in my 53 plate 1.2 clio and it wont save presets so i swaped the wires back to standard and the head unit would not turn on at all. i swaped them back so its working but not saving presets. can someone help?:S How do i make it save radio stations???

It should work fine, if you have the red > red and yellow > yellow.

If not try using a voltmeter, and checking whether when you have the ignition on you have 12v going through both wires?

maby its a power fault if there isnt a constant 12v to it then it wont save
as said check the yellow ( i think) is giving a constant 12v and if not then you need to make a positive feed from somewere
