Heater pannel

hi all im working on my cilo s reg

the dial that controls where the air come out of eg dash legs face etc is stuck and will only turn half a rotation.

i have taken to heater panel off and located the blowing unit that controls the dials (underneath the stearing wheel to the left)

how do i remove this or clean it so my dials can move the full rotation.
