Hello! 182 owner in Worcester

Car  182, 205 GTI
Hi all - I'm based in Worcester and I've had my 182 FF since around February. Awesome car.

Getting towards Winter now and I'm looking to get a decent winter wheel/tyre package - Does anyone know of a good combination? I had Goodyear Ultragrip 8 on my old 306 and served me very well though 2 winters.

Cheers!

Craig

Welcome

Car looks clean!

Try pick up some cheap 15" alloys or steelies as the winter tyres will be a lot cheaper than in 16" mate

I've used Continental winter contacts before and are very good. Any winter tyre is going to be a lot better than a "normal" summer tyre if we get decent snow again

Yep, I used to live out in the sticks nr Chipping Norton and you basically HAD to have them if you wanted to go anywhere - no gritters etc. Got some funny looks from all the L200 driving Farmers seeing this old 306 driving around in the snow! I'll have a look round for smaller rims - any you can recommend?

Ha i know what you mean mate, I go to North Yorkshire a fair bit and you can get decent snow up there when its quite clear half hours drive away back towards Leeds

A lot of Renault wheels will fit from the mk1 Valvers and Williams wheels, mk2 Dynamique alloys and more. Just see whats cheap at the time on here or fleabay. The tyres are £50 a corner in 195/50/15s and in stock

I would love some s*itty steelies, I love how sleeper the car is in Silver, shame the exhausts give a bit of the game away. 172 on steelies would be a great sleeper.
