hello, im just new to the french world of cars , iv just purchased a 172 cup 36k 03 plate just had cam belt kit done and aux belt . i am going to try and source some second hand recaro trendlines but i am strugling, could any of you point me in the right direction?

id like to add the 172 is a fantastic car to drive , building my confidence with the car day by day before i take it to the track, completley different from my c20let corsa. ha

Trendline's do come up second hand, but when they do folk go mad & pay a lot of them (almost up to a grand is about the norm) compared to new ones from places like capital seating, they come in around £1200 iirc a couple of hundred pounds isn't really that big a saving.

Keep an eye out on ebay, see if a 182 trophy turns up on there, but make sure the seats aren't bent etc.

Most folk will tell you though that for the money there are a lot lot better seats out there.

My mate got trendlines on a mini forum for 400 bucks, ever since then not seen any.

Sorry I thought you wanted a pair that would fit straight into a clio (mini ones might do, I don't know)

You can get them from evo's & type r's etc, they come up quite a lot, but they aren't the same colour as the 182 trophy ones. If your lucky you might get a pair that goes straight in, if not you'll ned to sort some subframes.
