  Clio sport 172
Hi,

I'm helping my friend change the rear pads on his 172 we have the old ones off but we cannot for the life of us get the new ones in!

Someone please help!

I've searched for a guide but can't find ANYTHING!

Thanks very much

there's a guide in the guide section, but you'll have to cough up a tenner to become a member to have a look!

How do you mean you can't get the new ones in?

Also you need to pull the holder/carrier away from the car, its spring loaded. Wind piston back in, pull holder/carrier away from the car then slot the outer pad 1st (I think its the easiest way round to do it) then the inner one should fit pretty easily.

Definitely wind them in clockwise and apply pressure too, I used a strip off flat metal that fitted in the piston slots and its easier done with the calipers on the car so don't take them off.
