Took off the old discs and pads, fitted the mintex discs & put on the old abs ring, took it for a test drive and the discs are rubbing on the inside (sloped bits on inside of disc against the casing where the disc mounts onto). Doesn't seem like there's enough clearance and it needs a washer? Anything I'm missing?

sounds like you may have missed off the shim that goes inbetween wouldnt surprise me if its still stuck to your old discs.. it just looks like a washer this is the part here

Thanks guys, ordered from Renault, should all be sorted Wednesday. £15ish for two inc VAT.
I have a feeling one was shattered, giving the reason for the bearing going I guess. But the other side didn't have one at all - no give in the disc either. Odd.
One thing I'm a bit concerned about though is the bearings on the mintex disc managed to come out slightly when removing the disc to put the old one back on.
Shouldn't be too much of a problem when tightened back up should it?
