Help : Sparco seat fitting

I'm having problems fitting my Sparco seats in to my 172

I have collected the following parts :

1 x Sparco Corsa Seat

1 x Sparco Circuit Seat

2 x Sparco subframes like this

2 x Sets of Sparco side mounts like these : http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motor...Frames/Sparco_Steel_Seat_Side_Mounts/1763/968

1 x Set of Sparco side mounts like these : http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motor...o_Professional_Alloy_Seat_Mounts/1763/0/13343

The subframes line up perfectly with the existing seat holes in the car, however the side mounts are too far apart for them to line up with the top of the subframes once fitted to the seats

Presumably the subframes i have aren't the right ones ? And the ones above are actually what i needed ?

I'm hoping someone on here has fitted Sparco seats and can help me out ?

Ask a stupid question, but you've tried the sidemounts the other way round have you?, so they are like '|_ _|' rather than like '_| |_'

The subframes you linked to will probably be the same as the ones you already have, the photo is a stock photo, most definitely not a clio subframe.

sorry to revive the thread but i have just got my subframe which is the exact one shown in the picture (not the link), and was just wondering if these sit flat when installed unlike the omp ones? and also how do you mount the extra piece with the eye bolt hole? as it looks like it will be in front of the lap strap hole instead of behind it? (probably obvious when i get my arse in the garage and try and fit it)

for anyone thats bothered, i also had the same problem as the op. Im sending it back to ktec and they are sending me out the omp one that i originally ordered
