right. discovered yesterday my radiator is leaking and steaming abit.

obviously in an ideal world i wouldnt drive it.

but would it be ok to drive with a 2 litre bottle of water with me incase, or is that just a no no?

Its just I cant get a new rad till tuesday/wednesday. :(

depends how bad its leaking.... altho u dont want it to burst i wouldnt move it if i was you but then again a aint no car expert :)

I think there is something called Radweld which may be a short term solution for you. Never used it myself though.

a word of warning it is not good to put cold water into a hot engine! so taking some water/coolant with you for short journies should be okif you motior the level,but when topping up make sure the car is properly cooled down! im talking from experience here iv warped a head by putting cold water into a hot engine
