hi all need help again :)

  Gordini 182
i have decided to make my T reg clio mk2 ph1 into a track runner till it dies and i buy a new one haha.

ive been looking on Ktec for parts:

thinking of:

V-maxx Coilover
strip out the car
stut brace

anything else?

want it as cheap as poss just because im going to run it hard till it dies haha

Im not sure vmaxx are going to be an upgrade over standard suspension if your tracking it. Think they are more show than go. I would just get a lower set of springs.

V-Maxx are an improvement over the standard setup proving you have a full geometry setup. Although if you're planning on driving the car into the ground I'd recommend removing as much as you can from the interior, fitting a rear white line ARB and bleed the brakes / new set brembo high carbon brake discs and DS3000 pads, and reasonable set of tyres. Leave the suspension as it is

I didnt realise the car is a 1.2 if your guna track it just strip it and track it imo. Unless the parts are going to be transferrable to the next car you have i cant see much point in spending much on it.

yeah i was looking at getting parts that i can transfer to a 172.

would a strut brace help with stiffen the body as mine rolls alot

That suspension wont be transferrable unless you put 172 hubs on your 1.2 (if thats even possible) and buy 172 coilovers. Strut brace wont eliminate body roll thats down to your suspension.

One quick thing when you say turning it into a track car. Do you mean it'll see a track on a monthly basis or more like once every 6/12 months? last time i checked a track day was around 175 so after you've paid for suspension + other bits and a few track days you could have bought yourself a car that would actually serve its purpose as a track car far better than yours.

I would personally sell it for 500 and put the 400 you were guna spend on suspension and buy something like this
