hi everyone hope everyone is ok been along time since i was last on work and sh*t.....anyone know what the limit is for cup on 12,000 service as i cannot afford it at the mo and was told it is ok up to 13,000 for the warranty..it had oil and filter done at 6,000 so not worried about the engine just my pocket..help anyone please

I was told (with my old 1.2) that 1 month over two years or 1,000 miles over the 12,000 is the max (which ever comes first). Will probably be the same for 172s.

After this they can contest your warranty.

Yeah Frosty thats spot on. Were you having it done CUPPY? Had my 12k done at Arnold Clark in warrington and paid £117 (£130 w/o discount). One of the cheapest around !!!!

if u get it done after 13000 u lose a certain percentage of your warranty..... like me, 13100. nobs, werent even my fault, Reno couldnt fit me in!!!

They do a a check on the ECU, change oil and filters. BIG WOW! Cant believe they have taken a % of your warrenty away!

CUPPY,give Arnold Clark a ring (See if you can blag a 10%discount card) to confirm the service price and then ask Gordan Lamb if theyll match if?? Worth a try.

Bought the 172 out the slavage in the autotrader, my dad and me are having a go at rebuilding it and then selling it on. Its had a fairly light front impact.Only airbag gone is the side, not too bad. The funny thing is everytime we work on it he goes on about how we must sell it when its done, and he keeps driving my car!!LOL Thinks hes got the 172 bug!!!! So we may end up with both on the drive in the end.
