higher exhaust clio 182

All, had my exhaust fitted and a few people made comments that it could do with a bit higher. i could sort out the powerflex exhaust mounts easier enough, only thing is though i spoke to the company that made it for me and he says thats fine but advised me to slacken the clamp between the 2 pipes (back / front) any reason ?

Possibly because the system still needs to move

thanks ^ i just thought adding making the mount higher would do the trick ? why would you still need to move the system ?

Remove any if any washers from under the mounts on the rear.

Most 182 's have them between the mount and car body.

i fitted some washers on the right hand side under the exhaust bracket (as the right one was higher than the left) and it was easier to lower one than it was to higher one!

I havent seen any washers under anything else ? (car body from factory)
