hit a pothole :(

hit a pothole las nite in bangor. took a big chunk out of the rim an a big slice from the tyre. was talkin to a few ppl an they said theres a chance that my suspension cud be damaged aswell as the car is pulling a bit to the right. not very happy at all.

i've heard u can claim of the doe for the damage. has anyone done this or kno how easy it is to do???

Good chance the cars alignment needs done, dont take guess work as an actual estimation to the cars damage!

get photos of car damage, pothole, road etc - might be able to make a claim although its a bit unlikely

can make a claim , ut they love to drag their heels over claims like it, get photographs of the pothole / damage and estimates for the repairs and chance it

I hit one in my old 172, at 50 ish.

The rim was fine but it ruined the sidewall and sheared the piston in my shock! I replaced it, took apart the old one and it had shattered into four pieces.
