Elephant insurance: So is it a 182 cup or a standard 182?
Me: its a 182 with cup packs
Elephant insurance so ita a 182 cup?
Me:No Renault sold a standard 182 and a cup 182 the main differences being the cup had different suspension anthrasite colourd wheels a front splitter and a more basic interior, however you could pay £400 at the dealers and upgrade your standard 182 and have the cup suspension and front splitter fitted as an option.
Elephant insurance: So its a modified car then?, we dont insure modified cars!.
Me:for f**ks sake:dead::(:S:mad:

  Mondeo TXS Bardge.
I'm with bell and what i take umpridge to is that they make you pay to insure the mods but they dont insure the mods, i f*cking E they wont replacethem if you have a smash. and apparently that goes for optional extras.

Same company, always phone before 2pm or you will go through to India. I had the same problem with my 182 as well, in the end i simply called back and said it was a 182, didnt mention cup packs at all - as far as i was aware it was just a 182, as it came out the factory :)

think i must have been through to india....i couldnt believe the attitude of him, he had the cheek to tell me to hurry up and answer his question!!

My patience was wearing thin when he told me to hold...came back 5 mins later and said we cant cover your car sir. I told him to shove it, went online and bell accepted my details/mods on there!! What a clown.

I used to have all that crap too, in the end I was glad to pay £54 a year extra through the Halifax and speak to actual people who understand me and understand english based cars!

I just put it down as air filter for my BMC with bell.

EDIT: £68 for a IK ??? you joking ? my IK and exhaust cost me an extra £40 with bell lol ! (19 years old)

Was like £60 extra with springs as well o_O
