How many different types of xenon headlamps are there?

May seem like a dumb question, I know that the 172 have a black inside and that the 182 has a grey inside, but I have brought a 172 headlight from ebay with the black inside which matches the old headlight fine but on the outside edge the verticle strip is black also and on my old lights its grey (where the headlight meets the wing). Does the sun fade the outside strip from black to grey or is there a different variant? My Clio is a 2002 in Monaco Blue

I have a grey one with black strip, similiar issue to you. What does yours have to hold the xenon bulb in? A plastic black ring or 2 thin metal pins?

Pretty sure its a plastic ring that holds the bulb in place.
