How much to fit the following ?

New cams with new cam belt kit, and remapped ?
Some places want £1500 ish for the lot (all parts etc)
Sounds a bit pricey doesnt it.
Any one know where i could get it done cheaper ?
Bearing in mind you can get the cam belt kit £120 ish and cams for £500/600.
So they are charging nearly £700/800 to fit and map

Thats one of the cheeper packages...

Cam belt kit is £130 ish + vat making it £156 ish
Depending on the cams, shrick are about £650
Remap is between 250 and 400 depending what you want
Labour for a specialist will cost money unless you want some back street tyre kicker to fit your engine internals...

Yes i know RS's are expensive to mod, prob upto half of your outlay already Benp.
Just thought i would ask to see if any one could do a deal. In talks with a couple of specialists so will keep you informed.
Any one else noticed a difference by adding cams and remap?

A cambelt chnage is about £500 and cams about £600 so realy your only looking at £400 to fit the cams time them in etc and thats not using adjustbale thats stock timing etc.

Can be done cheaper but you pay your money.
