Hurrah! 197 for a couple hours on saturday!

Just had confirmation from renault that I'll be able to pick up a Blue 197 on saturday at 1pm and take it out unaccompanied for an hour or so. i'm really starting to fall in love with the car which is very bad news for me. This will be my third time driving a 197, 4th car that I've been in, and I really am getting the bug!

Wait for the cup lad, and wait for some deals to be done on them...you'd be completely fking nuts to buy one at their current price - losing 5/6k in a year would be painful to say the least!

Still not keen on the looks, and still waiting in anticipation for the Cup version, but doubt I can be swayed back to Renault now tbh.

Oh I agree, I cant afford to buy at the current price, but my plan is to try and get an ex demo car. Ok it will have been ragged, but that just means its ben run in. Even if i get a couple grand knocked off I should be onto a winner.

Looking beyond "pub talk" acceleration figures, I'd hazard a guess the 197 is probably better to drive than the 225.
