1st the plastic sill covers wont go on

2nd no matter how hard i try i cant get the bonnet pull grommet to accept 4awg cable

and finally ive lost my spare grommet

i think im just gonna call it a day and put the standard stereo back in

why are you using 4 gauge?

ive got a 4 gauge distribution block sitting in the garage

loads of 4gauge cable (blue and silver - thought it would look nice in the car)

4gauge earth and power block in the garage

im running 2 amps that both recommend better than 8ga cabling

oh those sil covers r a b**ch! mine still aint on right! bonnet pull gromet? is that the route to the engine bay? i used the hole that all the cables seem to go through, middleish of the passenger footwell, up behind dash, dunno if that helps

i used a hole cutter, took it to my local dealer he said he has no idea why it wont go through

i think im gonna remove the bonnet pull cable, remove the grommet, go to renault, buy a new one then modify it whilst its off the car, much easier
