I think my car is possessed....

Ive noticed a few times recently that my car has unlocked itself... The first time I blamed myself for not locking it, but now I check its locked before walking away from the car, so its definitely not me failing to lock her up!

However, last monday morning I got in my car to go to work I switched the ignition on (didnt touch any of the stalks or wheel or anything) reached over to get my seatbelt and noticed the rear wiper had wiped the dew off the rear screen... I looked at the stalk and the wipers were set to auto mode but the rear wiper was OFF! It did it again to me yesterday only this time the wipers were set to the off position and the rear wiper was off too.

Now I are really confuddled by this, I don't think I'm going mad and it is a french car afterall but has anyone else had a similar problem?? Or does anyone have a fix for this?!

Sometimes mine seems to unlock, can't tell if it's me or not
And also everytime i reverse and there's dew my rear wipers come on were you reversing at all?

You sure you don't have the auto wipers on, rear off and you've stuck it in reverse??? If the auto is on and you stick it in reverse is wipes the window

Sarah, either you are being completely female or you have corrosion/liming on the terminals in your engine bay fuse and relay box.

My old ph1 1.2 had this and the thing use to go eppy everytime I unlocked it....or in most cases attempted to unlock it.

The rear reverse/wash doesn't work because the switch is disconnected cause it drove me insane!
I think checking the relay box is a good idea, but it doesn't do it all the time!

We meant putting the gearstick in reverse. not the reverse wiper lol.

I have disconnected the little blue plug for the reverse light switch on the side of the gearbox... so when the wipers are on and I put it in reverse it DOESN'T wipe the rear screen!

So it cant be the fact its in reverse and so it wipes etc...
