Kev: Gears is probably the best multiplayer shooting game ever, not for game play, but for the amount of team work it takes.

I play with a group of mates, and if we get a full team, the banter and enjoyment isn't matched by anything. Basically, if as a team of 5 you work together, you can beat far superior opponents, which is just awesome. Genuinely more fun that anything else I've ever played.

The only downside is the view and controls take a little getting used to!

Gears is great. It's a totally different style of play to any other FPS and Horde mode is f**king mayhem. Errrrrybody knows that MW3 will be the game to play but some (Chris and AK) are too scared that they will get their arses handed to them by super cool players like me running and gunning LIKE A MOTHERFUCKING BOSS. So instead they want to lie down in the grass together on BF3 staring longingly into each others eyes and whispering sweet nothings.
