Chi dropped this Iceberg 172 a couple of weeks ago when collecting his 6 MPS.
He he wanted me to bring some life back into it and generally tart it up.
I managed to start on this yesterday evening and finished it today. 13ish hours in total I think.

Mmmmm
Sprayed the whole car with RDS and let it dwell while I mixed up some lather. Sprayed that off and did the wheels with the rest of my imperial mix from the review this month. Washed the whole car and was left with
Nice colour when it's clean
Give the car a hit with TARdis, somehow it only took one hit and a little agitation. Didn't get any pics as there wasn't all that much for the camera to pick up.
Next up iron x. There still wasn't that much fallout.
Washed again and clayed with AF clay bar. I still find this lacks adequate bite, requiring more effort than necessary to remove excess contamination. Leaving this
Minor swirling here and there with a few RDS' but nothing major
After getting the muck off the paint I moved onto the engine. I mixed up a fairly strong verso cocktail and started scrubbing
And the other side for comparison

And finished, cleaning that is.
Moved onto the shuts. And the boot
I found a few blobs of touch up dotted around that would be a shame to leave. And since I was giving the headlights a light sand I figured I may as well.
Headlights before, not too bad, but could be better.
That was the end of day 1
Started early the next day, washed the car down with lather to make sure anything it picked up overnight was removed.

It looks like someone had a go at wet sanding in the past
Cracked out the g3 scratch remover on an AF #1 pad for the sanding marks
I then switched to AF revitalise #2 pad and polish. The paintwork wasn't bad but this brought back some depth and gloss to the finish.

Iceberg has quite a nice flake and texture
Found these which I figured would be good to test ultra glaze against

Then onto the glaze.
The scratch

I tried to get some 50/50s but I really struggled
The right side was glazed
And then the left side
Then the car was waxed with AF essence, but no pics as it was just wax curing.
I gave the whole car a qd wipe down after removing the masking tape to remove any dust, then I gave all the plastics and glass an IPA wipe down.
Then onto AF revive.
Then the interior was sprayed with the verso mix, agitated, dried and vacuumed.

And then it rained
Awaiting collection now.
