I'm Making a Rat-Look Clio..... Any advice??

I was thinking of 13 inch steels, 60mm lowered suspension, 25mm spacers, rusted bonnet, roofrack, and the usual stickers/livery/french plates.

Any more ideas? Anyone got any pics of Rat look Clio's??

Here is my starting point (massive thanks to Sym0n, Its mechanicals are like brand new!!)

Any pointers, i'd be very grateful.

That was a bargain that.
Needs to be decked, I would hand paint it nato green, steelies with white wall tyres would look good, needs to be a chrome roof rack really.

Coilies and custom springs are the only way dude. Has to be slammmmmmmed.

And a matt colour, nato green is nice too.

Rusted deep dish steeles with streach, maybe open bonnet for shows/rusted bonnet.

Stickers all over the back.

I don't get the rat thing, but if you're going for 13" steels - make sure they are banded. They look ace!

smoothed and c/c'd,
matt black banded steelies w/ nato lip possibly - chrome wheel bolts,
matt black roof,
matt black fuel flap,
slam it,
rust bonnet,
wooden and chrome roof rack,
nato green jerry can in roof rack! (or poss hay barrel?!)

I wouldn't rust the bonnet, I'd try to get some tallented graffiti artist to give it a going over, then leave it un-laquered for a flat look. Rust things like the wipers and trim if you must.

Decked on its arse, I'd go for ATS cups, maybe a different coloured wing and then deck the back out in luxurious chipboard?

Try and get it RL Prima spec'd in the front too. My mk1 was the most basic of basics..

My current plan (since starting this thread) is now wide 13/14 inch steels on white wall tyres. Flat green paint, rusted bonnet, as low as it will go, (within reason, I still need to get into work! lol) Many many 'rat' stickers in the rear window, and a 'Ratvan' motif on the rear side windows/panels, french plates, and a stupid upwards exhaust.

I'm getting firm just typing this!!
