Indicated top speed of 1.4 rt

Whats the usual indicated top speed on a 1.4 rt (M reg). With 140 on the clock and rated at 105+ by magazines i still cant get above 80.I know big wheels and wide arches act against the aerodynamics and such but surely it should go faster than that?

mate u should be able to get 80 in 5th without ur foot on the accelerator.

Somthink must be up.

MY top speed in RT was 115mph still pulling then i pussied out. i know the clock prob is accurate.

how big are your wheels they can have a big affect on the speedo.

big wheels will kill top end on an RT, my mates on 16s and struggles past 85-90
