I wouldnt mind maybe getting one next year (next summer), ill have 1 years driving experience but no no claims. What did any of you lot pay and wheres the best place to get it the cheapest as ive read on here of a few 18yr olds driving the 172's.

The hyundi coupe is a pup, s**t engine too..
Stick with your 1.4 til your at least 20, build some no claims and some experiance..
I got my 182 when i was 20, was paying £1250 my 1st year with 0NCB, then it dropped to £1050 the 2nd year with 1 years NCB when i was 21, i've rancently changed from the 182 to an R27 and, i'm now 22 with 2 years NCB and paying £880 a year..
I've always been policy holder, mum as 2nd driver, this year i'm the policy holder, mum as 2nd driver and my gf who's 23..
I've always had my insurance in my own name, its well worth it as you get a little older..
I got my 172 at 18 insurance was 1400 with 0NCB in my name, can't remember which company it was either elephant, admiral or bell. They're all the same anyway, checked everywhere and nobody could touch them
