On an older thread I started, I posted some pictures of the centre part of the top dash and the surround panel covering the hazard switch and buttons either side that I painted in Black Gold to match the exterior.
My car has got the silver dash trims, silver gearknob and steering wheel trims.
I've decided the black stands out too much and doesn't really suit the other bits, plus I have alcantara bits and its not really all working together.
So what i'm asking is, if you had a BG with the silver interior trims what colour would you paint the above 2 pieces of trim?
- Black stands out too much and doesn't match anything else in the interior
- Silver will match the other trims but IMO will look a bit tacky
So now i'm thinking a dark gun metal/anthracite. What do you think? Or any better ideas for colours? If you have done something similar pics would be great!
And finally, anyone know how to remove the dash vents either end of the top dash?
