Interior wrapping

Anyone have experience with wrapping clio 03 interior pieces? Specifically the door card trim. I'm having difficulty with the speaker covers. They're an awkward shape to begin with but my problem is the wrap won't stick. I've prepped them with spirits and wipes and dried them prior. I tried rub them down to a smooth finish but this hasn't helped much either. Give up? Or am I missing something?

It doesn't stick particularly well to plastic anyway. You need to get it smooth and preferably get some paint on it, it will stick like s**t to a clearcoat provided it it nice and smooth.
