ipad 2 or motorola xoom??

can i mod make this a poll please..

rite going to get one or the other for my birthday. 28th june
i want one with 3g so will have to be on a contract ..
you pay £130 for the phone then £25 for 24 months then minus the 20% discount i can get..

thing is i already have an iphone and the ipad is pretty much the same just bigger,
the ipad looks nicer and is alot easier to use, on the other hand the xoom is totally different to my phone and has a slightly better rating..

anyways which one would you guys go for?

I had a go on the xoom (I think it was) today. I was surprised at how good it was tbh, the screen was very sensitive and it hardly lagged, it wasn't as simple as the iPad though. Why don't you go and try them out ?

Well everything else is apparently s**t compared to the iPad so no.

i have used a friends ipad and was really good. only just better than an i phone because of the bigger screen.
only used a xoom in carfone warehouse tho and didnt really get to play around with it.

Test the fucker out properly. If they are trying to sell you something then you should get a decent try at how it works.

We've been testing the Xoom and iPad 2 at work recently and they both seem to perform *very* similarly, using our in-house benchmarking software.

Test them both and see which you prefer using? I'm a big fan of both Android 3.0/3.1 (Honeycomb) and the latest iOS, so it'd come down to price IMO.
