Iphone has stopped clicking

Just noticed that my 3gs has stopped making the clicking noise when locking, returning to home screen and typing. I have checked the settings and the sounds are turnt on and have turned the phone off and on again but its still not working.

I know it sounds petty but things like this bug me!

ANy ideas?

I had something similar, it thought an accessory was plugged in via the connector. Turns out it was either dirt or a metal filing from when I'd been doing the car, sprayed it with compressed air and it was fine again!
