iPhone playing up

My iPhone 4 is really getting on my tits.
Over the past few weeks it keeps turning itself off, past few days its started cutting out calls, freezing, the main button not working etc.

Typically it's 3 weeks out of f**king warranty.

I've done an iTunes factory reset etc and it seemed better at first but now it's cutting out every few hours.

Anyone have any ideas?!

When you restored via iTunes. Did you put your back-up back on? Or did you start fresh?

Back up back on. But the only thing I have on the phone is contacts, music and photos, no apps etc. Think that might be a problem?

It won't be those that cause the problem, it'll be an error in the actual firmware file.

Sync your contacts with Google - http://www.google.com/mobile/sync/

Then restore it. And manually put things back on. If it's just music/photos/contacts it's easy enough to do.
