Im guessing that my rear hub bolt has burst and the reason for this is in the short video below.

I have been spraying these nuts at the back of the hub for the last 3 weeks almost every day with WD40 and then today i went to see if i could lose them off and i before i even tried i noticed it was just spinning.

Might as well have been coating it in mayonnaise.

Penetrating fluid is what you need to .. er .. penetrate into the threads of seized bolts. If that fails; heat is what you need.

Video not working...

I would also like to point out I'm buying new Torx bolts and nuts for these

You need to access the torx head the other side to stop them spinning.... panic over, nothings broken. Lol :tonguewink:

Thats too much effort for me, It was hard enough taking the wheels and back bumper off 😊

Three weeks?!? Flol!

Danny i walk about with a tin of WD40 and anything in the way gets it LOL

Step away from the tools Marc

I am bad, Everything needs hit with a hammer or cut and all my mates who are techs (for BMW, Nissan, Renault, Vw & Audi) won't let me touch my car when they are around as i break things, A lot of things :weary:

Such a drama queen. Bet sportys were being called to come pick it up!

Almost, I gave up and left everything at my arse, I have other issues and the Ange Grinder is coming into play for them
I had the impact gun on the exhaust back box bolts and one one came out so thats getting just and the small 10mm that hold the heat shield up are getting cut also.

PMS sell the 10mm rear spacers for £25 and comes with new nuts n bolts. they also sell the nuts and bolts separately but you have to call them for that.

  A special one.
Very strange, when i did mine Adam told me that the bolts where NLA.

Anyway that's alot of money for a few bolts.

Just seen the PMS kit so going to buy that as i want spacers to match the fronts and £25 for a full kit seems very good.

Im changing all the Heat shield clips and fasteners and a N/S/R break pipe also hence the price.

These bolts suck

I got some high tensile ones to replace mine from a local bolt shop, they were about £3. f**k reno prices.

Think I`m going to buy 50 Rawlnuts from Allfast for £14 and knock em out on Ebay as Ducati screen fasteners @ £2.96 each.
Write the OE part number on a seally bag, chuck 8 in,anyone asks, pack quantity is 10.Job done.
