Is my gearbox knackered Clio 16v

[James Clio 16v]

My gearbox wont go into third at all and whines and crunches when taking up the drive in all other gears.

Does it sound like its dead? I think it is.

If it is, how much would a decent 2nd hand box be?

How long labour wise would it take to fit?

If I do it myself, how hard is it to do?

Will it go into gear with the engine switched off mate?

It only goes into 1st, 2nd, 4th and reverse with the engine switched off.

It tries to go into 3rd and 5th, but it doesnt go in fully.
