is their any respectable remappers further down south than tdf?

hello chaps, im thinking of putting a set of cams in my 182 as ill be doing a cambelt soon and seems to make sense to do them both together.

just trying to find someone who has a good reputation for remaping the clio's further down the country than tdf, one as i dont fancy the long drive and two im worried it may damage the engine driving that far with out a map?

also could i go down the rs tunner route or is it better to send it to someone to do it?

any advise appreciated.

I use Sanspeed Tuning. Graham is excellent and has a very good reputation.

I used K-Tec on mine, with their 438 cams. They have mixed reviews on here, but they have been nothing but excellent for me. Danny @ 519 is further south than TdF aswell (just, I think).

Oh and don't RS Tuner it, Cams need live mapping to get the most out of them.

I used danny and he was spot on, although it was a map from ktec.


Its always the same people slagging off ktec 4 or 5 people. Make up your own mind dude dont let someone make it for you.

Doncaster? You have to make sure you google K-Tec Racing, without the 'h'. They are based in Verwood, not far from Poole
in Dorset.

K-tec fantastic for me happy with the gains too, car pulls allot harder throughout the whole rev range

Sanspeed just on the outskirts of London there pretty good my bro in law took his scooby there a few years back

Sanspeed have a great reputation going back a long way, I remember them even back in the days of carbs 20 years ago being very good, didnt know they did clio management now though, thats good news if they do.

If you're looking at having them mapped on the standard ECU you'll probably find Sanspeed will not do it. I could be wrong though. As long as you keep it sensible you'll be fine driving it. The cars unlikely to notice the difference between an hour or two hours
