ITG panel filters? 172/182

Car  182
what are these filters like? everyone seems to have them, do they sound like normal intake? or ALOT noisier? or just a nice subtle noise at normal driving, and louder when pushing it?

(am asking coz im trying to keep my car relatively quiet at normal drive/pootle along conditions!)

they expensive? how much?

Their way better then std mate, air flow etc.... No noise... well, maybe a little more woosh but may not notice. Think there are around 30 quid but do not need chucking. And a sticky goo to trap cr*p,

really? cool i may have to look into it... are they just a replacement for the standard filter then? go in the existing air box?

a valuable mod, i wouldnt mind one myself. Its on my list for thr 48k service to swap over

I got mine off K-tek although I cant remember the price nor know if its the cheapest place. Not sure if Fred sells them.

Just better breathing really. Would depend how clogged your std one is in relation to any diff in performane. The std is more restrictive anyway. Maybe better pick-up etc. Can also increase MPG.

Ive never had a crash (that went through insurance... went through scrappy through lol) so dont know how gay the insurance companies can be. Maybe come renewal time ill mention it... prob wont make a difference to cost.

i added mine, but im with greenlight and they hardly bothered charging me... was about 3 quid extra year LOL
