Got my 2nd 172 running on Saturday, rebuilt the head after a timing built failure.
I have 2 172s, both bought as non runners after belts had failed, sadyl the 1st still wont start for some reason.
Looking forward to getting the 2nd MoT'd this week and taking it for a blast at long last!
Will get some pics up when ive washed and got it on road as its been standing for months so is dirty as hell! Plus its covered in greasy finger prints!

Yes ive grown to hate them over the last couple of months. Hoping acctually driving it will make up for the time and pain if spent. Should also seem a nice profit when I sell one of them which will help. Just need to get the other fucker started- pissing imobiliser/loom/whatever....
