The mk1 went at the weekend to the first viewer and looks like its gone to a good home!

After finishing uni back in september i needed a car to get me from home to work everyday spent the last 3 months searching for the right car, ive looked at many and not one came as mint as this one.........................

After driving the 172 for a couple weeks ive realised what all the hype is about and im getting 37.5mpg going to work so seems pretty safe bet, this was just a quick clean but clay bar and hopefully pc'in it soon!

Cheers Ryan

Nice cars, both of them!

How you manage to stick with a car for four years beggars belief!! I struggle to keep mine longer than 12 weeks!

Well being at uni for 3 years doesnt help, but if it had a willy engine in id of kept it, handled very well on koni shocks!

Cheers people exhaust is really good adds that little note but not too much!

really could do with clay bar treatment so hopefully thatll be next week if the weathers okish!

the drive compared to the mk1 is completly different, i think coilovers will be a nice addition but not just yet, i wanna learn to drive it properly before they go on 'if' they do ;)

Awsome colour mate ;)

Both cars are very tidy indeed.
As you mentioned in your PM - speedlines are getting good reports on here with standard or koni shocks. You have mentioned above the koni's are great :)

I love the style of the exhaust too - thinking of getting one for my own like that, just don't know what they sound like and where is best to get it from lol

Looks same as mine, except the exhaust. Had mine a couple of weeks now, get some Eibach Pro's on it, transforms the handling. Gets rid of all the floatiness at high speed, and improves the ride.

The exhaust is exactly what i wanted not too much sound, but provides exactly the right note and im glad the previous owner chose that one!

Really am debating speedlines now!

That's what I want from mine too, just a nice subtle grunt - even standard the purrr is great :)
