Hiya

Got myself an ipod and just want to put some CD's onto Itunes. But not sure what format to import them in, i assume MP3 would be the best one at 192kbps? i want the best quality but obviously not too much memory is used. that or ACC from apple do 256kbps

aac encoding at its lowest is equivalent to MP3 encoding at 192, plus it uses less room on your hard drive/ipod.
However AAC cant be played on all portable media players, so its really up to the user.
Do you want to play the files on anything else other than an IPod.ITunes? if not then stick with the default quality.

If you are planning on Broadcasting then you will need as high a bit rate as possible, as all conpressed audio sounds bad when transmtted over Radio/IPStream due to the double compression it gets.
