Ive Got It And It Rules !!! - Clio GTT

  Skoda Fabia vRS

anyone thinkin of havin a GTT conversion, get it done, and get it done properly at GDI, sweet jesus its good, its a totally different car

oh, and if the handlin of your Clio is crap, get some GAZ coilovers and polybushes, the difference is amazing, words cant describe really how much better it really is

an even though im limited to 3500rpm for the time bein, its superb !....the pull of it, totally wipes the floor with my old engine in every single respect

dump valves rule !!

Andy has done an absolutely superb job of it, its so tidy and neat and the car runs really well, i couldnt be any happier i dont think........

my normally rediculousy loud exhaust has now quietened quite a lot but is now a lot deeper, i prefer the sound.......

i cant thank Andy enough for all the hard graft hes put into it, workin early-late for about a month almost solid, makin sure even the smallest of jobs was sorted out to a very high standard

called in at the ClioSport North West meet so no doubt a few of the lads will let you know what they think of it.....

and no Jon (2live) im not racing you yet !

CHRIST ITS SO DAMN GOOD !!!

glad you are happy mate...

even I was impressed with the way the car drove.... the handling felt just right....

150 lb front springs made all the difference

yea definitely, the harder ones would have been too hard, whatever setting you have put it on seems really sweet, it grips like never before, body roll is very minimal, hardly any

7psi at the moment while its run in mate....

once ive done 500-1000 ill be takin it back down to Andy at GDI for him to work his magic on it again and put me up to about 14psi i think

I used to have an RT and I blew the engine up last year, I thought about sticking a GTT lump on but didnt know any one that did it.

Was it Andy at BB tuning that did the conversion for you?

hehe dont forget brun mate.....

u gotta give it a bootful evry now n then jus to run it in proper ;)

n wens this race?

BRUN, if i were u, dont put ur psi above 12psi, ur turbo will start stalling when u really hammer it.... i had my R5GTT set at 14psi and when really hammering it through the gears the engine & turbo would start too stall from fuel starvation, and i had uprated the fuel pumps etc. also start risking the standard intercooler to blow apart after 12psi, and turbo cant take much more

thanks for the advice mate, ill see what Andy says when i take it back to be tinkered with in a few weeks

  Clio 172 cup

Brun have you got an adjustable timing sensor yet?

it is highly recommended that you use one of these babies if you plan on using ordinary unleaded petrol
