Jacking rear of mk1 clio?techniques?

Gonna make the konis stiffer tomo, but last time i tried i couldnt get it on axle stands as the trolley jack seems to get in the way when jacking on the round part ~(drop arm??) so i cannot put axle stands on the sill!(where normal sissor jack sits.

How do people do this as it p!ssed me off last time and i dont want another day of being annoyed!

Jack on it and as the wheel lifts off the ground rotate teh arse end of the trolly jack away fromt eh stands towards the wheel.

Or jack on the flat section of the trailing arm, just by the piviot
