Jakes BoxFresh Titanium 182

  Titanium 182
Just tried my dads, no luck! It's basically dropped in through the sidelight fixture hole and down to the front, bottom of the housing! Headlight out jobby I think, which I believe is a bumper off job haha. Well, gives me some room for a good engine bay detail I guess

Well seeing as though it is her 80k birthday I thought I'd give the interior a long overdue spruce up! Needs some new mats but tried my best with the tired old ones I've got, that's me all detailed out for at least a week now.

As if you pulled on your drive at exactly 80k that's brilliant on its own. Car is such a stunning example, hope I get mine to some where near yours. I bet its a pleasure to clean?

It's a very pleasing car to clean, it's always a bonus when a car comes 'pre-detailed', saved me a lot of time lol

Thought I'd give this thread a little and final revival!:up:. After the recent off the road time I started cycling to work again (only 2 miles away), and then car sharing with the ball and chain when it was spitting with rain 🙈. Anyway, I've had the car back on the road again for the past month and during that time I've driven her twice. I've been having a serious think about it and I've decided it's just not worth keeping anymore, not with the cost of insurance tax and fuel anyway. Sooooo, and much to my girlfriends horror, I've decided to sell up and purchase another bike (Honda Hornet 600 2007> for those who care :tonguewink:). In all honesty I've grown a little bored of the 182, it's the longest I've ever owned a vehicle by a whole year and I've been itching to get back onto a bike for a while now, I kind of lost interest with the car after the air con unit clutch broke and then it was back off the road again with an injector failure. I stupidly replaced just 1 (being a tight a**) and then another proceeded to go! In the end I bit the bullet and replaced all four but it'd then been off the road for so long I'd gotten used to not having her :disrelieved:. Now she's all fixed I think I've lost the spark, and FYI the car is back to 100% health. I was actually thinking about stripping the rear seats and going down the track ready route but a. I don't want to butcher such a clean 182 and b. I would probably rarely get her on the track!

I'm going to give the car a full detail asap and take some final pictures 😢😢, I've already asked @Lawro if he wants her back :innocent:. Anyway, for those who might be interested and don't know this cars history here are some details:

81k
Full Fat
FSH, In fact I have never seen this much history on a car in my life.
All belts changed by specialist when I purchased the car (belts, pulleys, tensioners, dephaser & waterpump) with receipt of course.
Still the cleanest 182 available! Sadly though there is a little stone chip on the bonnet, really tiny though.
All 4 tyres and brake pads have thousands of miles left in them.
4 brand new Renault official injectors.
Team HEKO deflectors.
Uprated 6k HIDS.
3/4 front number plate.
LED number plate and interior bulbs.
THE seats, one of a kind full alcantara Recaro reclining bucket seats with silver stitching and RenaultSport logo.
Refurbed front bullets in anthracite and titanium lettering.
Corse Speedline alloys, all in mint condition and refurbed in anthracite with TP annodised bolts.
Refurbed and restitched front wheel from SnappyWheels (I think).
RenaultSport badge at rear.
Stubby aerial.
Full RS192 Scorpion exhaust system including decat center section, I'll include original cat section. Quite a deep note but almost silent at 30mph cruising around.
Brembo front discs.
RS stamped inlets.
Lowered on CookSport springs.
M.A.D spacers front and rear.
Adjustable Eibach camber bolts up front.
Front xenon washer blanks.
New battery (well it's actually about 6 months old but thought I'd mention!).
Spare official Renault air filter for next service.
After market Sony Bluetooth Headunit and subwoofer wiring into the boot (no sub though).

I've probably missed a few things off but you get the idea :yum:.
Car has been MOT'd in November (I need to double check the date) and passed with no advisories at all. Well, I'd forgotten to put the sidelights back in for the MOT but we sorted that 🙈
Before I bought the car Lawro hadn't long had it on a rolling road where it pulled 183bhp, I think the car has done around 10k miles since (I'll double check) then and serviced on time with only official Renault approved parts so I think you'd be seeing a very similar figure, certainly feels like it anyway!

Bad points!

The tiny little rust chip on the bonnet which I will photograph for you all to see
All 4 alloys are immaculate except the front right which has a (approx) 1inch long mark on the outer lip  it's a little curb mark which is silver in colour so pretty hard to spot, and it wasn't even me who did it!
The TOE wants adjusting, I might actually be getting this done before sale so I'll make sure I let you know, car feels fine and there isn't any pulling but on certain camber roads you can see the wheel is slightly offset.

At this point in time I am in absolutely NO rush to sell the car and will still be using her every so often, for that reason I am listing for £3600 and will not be accepting any offers. If the car doesn't sell after a couple of months then I will split the seats and sell these separately and relist the car at a lower price.
I've loved every minute of owning this car, apart from that time when the front lower ball joint had gone and it tried to kill me:fearscream:. It's done approx 4k miles a year under my ownership and I've tried to take as much care of it as Lawro did. I spent weeks looking for this car and it had absolutely everything done to it that I intended to do myself.

I really hope it will go to someone else off this forum who knows what a perfect example it is . Thanks for looking guys and girls, I'll post some more pics soon! If you've got any questions just let me know and I'll be happy to answer.

What are you playing at! haha.

I can understand your reasoning behind it, at this rate I'll be the only one left, hopefully the sale goes well, I can vouch for the condition of it :)

I keep asking myself the same thing lol, had a lovely drive tonight out tonight so I'm now weighing up my options again! I'll make a final decision this weekend but either way I'm definitely getting another bike!

Well I had another good think about it but decided to sell, especially now the sun has started to make an appearance! Perfect bike buying time! Spent the weekend giving her a good detailing and gathering all the bits and bobs for the sale.

For those interested the eBay link for the car is: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322029353254?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Thanks all!

out of curiosity, what was with the drop in coolant level a while back?
I think it was the rubber gasket it in the actual reservoir cap as when I took it off it was twisted out of position. We filled it up to full and over the space of around 500 miles it dropped about 1/3. We checked and couldn't see any place it was leaking so my dad thought perhaps the the actual filler cap or pipes leading out of the reservoir. Changed to a new cap (well used but new to me) and it never dropped from half way. About 2 months ago we filled it up to the max and topped up with coolant for winter and it's still at the max line
