Jeffs Acrylic

  A well built VW
Never really used a sealant before but i bought some of the Jeffs stuff recently from a member on here and thought i would give it a try on a 6 year old Meggy I pc'd a few weeks ago. Procedure was just Menzerna 85rd and 91 with a splash of 106 and 3 layers of this followed up with Megs carnuba wax. The owners son sent me some pics as i had to dash after i finished I love this picture ...... Not bad for a grey car on what was a grey day

I've finsihed mine...But i've gone bak to CG Blitz as a weekly seal...it's better on-off imo!

Ali, I have to admit i found this soooo easy to apply and remove im not sure anything could beat but im happy to be proven wrong

As Ali said I think I marginally prefer the CG Blitz...both excellent though. The Blitz just seems to work better with caranuba waxes and brings out metallic fleck a tad more on darker colours, but the Jeffs is slightly wetter and glossier IMO.

On a Silver car I've read on DW that Wax will take some of the "Pop" away from the paint if applied over Jeffs?

Is Jeffs a Protectant?

I've not found anythig to beat the Jeffs twins for speed and ease of application. I use the acrylic prime over winter and top up with acrylic jett every 3-4 weeks. I used it on my met silver scooby and the flake pop results were amazing. Now on the RB the finish is also great. I describe it as a clinical shine though, very sharp. Waxes give a more 'liquid/wet' shine.

The prime acrylic is also great as a pre wax cleaner, and is what I use over summer before applying wax.

It's amazing how black a PC pad becomes when polishing with the acrylic prime, even after washing/de-tarring/claying.

After wash/de-tar/clay
Stage 1 - Jeffs Prime Acrylic
Stage 2 - Jeffs Acrylic Jett

I wouldn't bother with the Jett if you're waxing on top. Similarly I wouldn't bother topping up with Jett onto a waxed finish, just top the wax up. When you want to go back to the Jett clean the wax back with prime prior to application.

I use Blitz more than wax, After every wash. one squirt per pannel...wipe on, by the time i've done the car, i wipe off! 10min job max.
