'Jumpy Throttle' on PH2 172

  RB 182
Ive noticed my 172s drive has become very jerky, and ive pinpointed it down to the throttle response. Instead of it being nice and gradual, nothing happens for maybe the 1st tiny bit when i press it down as you would do driving normally, then its as if it grabs drive and then go's? Its nothing like clutch slip, its just gotten really harsh.

My MILs been on for a while with a pre cat lambda fault, but would this cause the throttle response to differ? Wondered if there was any known faults, because its definately not a missfire

2002 02 172 on 91k, cheers

Disconnected the plug on the throttle pedal, pressed the pedal down a few times, reconnected the plug and it seems better (at least i think it feels better!)

Booked the car in to Renault next week to get this checked out.

Mine seems to geet worse after longer travel and when I hit traffic.

Will keep you posted.
