RS monitor was first on my list, and I'm so glad, even keeping it low revs at the mo and changing the mapping to sport or extreme makes a massive difference to how the car reacts throttle wise, it's a totally different car, IMO it's an absolute must just for that feature alone, the other stuff is very cool, but the extreme mode turns it into an animal, really can't wait to redline it!

I can imagine people without the monitor will not think the car is as fast an an r26 even but change it to extreme mode and it just feels like a mapped r26 on steroids.

Shame you already had Red DK aas the 250 in red is nice.

Saw Dolan's close up tonight and it's very very nice, a lot shorter and squater looking, always looks "Big" in the pictures but in the flesh it's a lovely size and shape.

The seats are lovely, Dolan went for the bigger rims and they they look okay in black not standard, think I prefer your wheels though.

Cracking spec. Could never take one over a FRS think being a Ford fan sways the decision, a lot of people would prefer the megane. Maybe prefer the less in your face looks.

Yeah, the seats are nice, everyone has commented on those so far, they finish the car off nicely.

As for colours, I like to mix it up a bit, so far I've had red, red, blue, yellow, blue, red so needed a new colour this time, and white is popular and looks nice contrasting with the gloss black parts and wheels. Going to be a b**ch to keep clean though. I nearly went for oyster grey, looks nice in the flesh but I just didn't think it was megane rs enough.

Well having studied mine quite a lot in the flesh today I really can't see what the issue is, I took it to work and not a single person mentioned them, and they aren't Renault lovers. They all loved it.

I think the one over the front wheels has an air intake behind the wheel to aid cooling, so has a purpose.

And when I filled up with fuel I certainly didn't think anything about the slight cutout, the twinge on the other hand has a much bigger cutout.

Anyway, I'm iced to the comments about them from folk on here now, if that's the worst you've got to say about the car then ok, I love it, every part of it, so very happy with my purchase and also glad I chose it over the frs

Finally someone who's bought one with the perfect specification! Kinda makes the R26/225 shape look dated now, which is crazy considering how futuristic and different they once looked! Lovely looking car, just can't seem to love them as much as the Focus RS though.

Car model is the 250 FF + cup pack and recaros

Options:
Renaultsport monitor - best option ever!
Spare wheel - stupidly didn't spec this on the r26 and had 4 punctures through nails and struggled obtaining tyres
Visibilty pack - doubled optic cornering xenons and LED daytime running lights
Panoramic roof - lightens up the inside of the car a lot, and makes a good contrast on a white car.

Think the only thing I didn't spec was an uprated stereo ( the standard stereo is great IMO, loads of features plus bluetooth phone connectivity and voice dialling) and front parking sensors I think, oh and the anthracite pack (prefer the black). It has a great basic spec of rear parking sensors (a must as the visibility out of the back is crap), dual zone climate, full leather, tyre pressure sensors etc.

can't have xenons without them, its part of a pack, you don't have to use them if you don't want, i personally like them, make the car more striking during the day.

they do seem bright though for the people i am following.
