I have just fit Powerflex dogbone bushes to my Phase 2 172 and WOW!!!
I have been involved in the VW scene for 10 years and have only ever used the diesel P/flex dogbones on petrol cars because of the vibrations.
I havent got any nasty vibrations with the 172 and it is so easy to get up to 4-5k rpm whereas before it was a bit laboured.
For something that takes half an hour and a bit of patience it is a top mod for the £20 I paid......
