Just gave my new car a clean.

Spent alot over time over the past 2 days cleaning her. Anyway I'll let the pictures do the talking, hope they arn't too big.

So far i've done minimal things such as put on the cliosport sticker and tax disc holder got rid of most the oxidized lights.

The plan is to:
Replace the cracked front drivers arch, respray or fit a sport bumper.
Fix the leaking sunroof and dry out the passenger footwell.
Replace the steering wheel and gear knob as the material is ****ed.
Basically just getting it up to a standard where it is clean enough and I'm happy with it, then maybe adding things like rs grill, coilovers e.t.c

In my engine bay, on the right of the engine with the cold air feed going to it, is this a resonator box ? What is its purpose ?

Looks pretty smart, I wouldn't waste money on new bumpers though, just keep it as is and get the mouldings colour coded.

Oh, howcome you've bought a 1.4 after owning a 1.2 btw? Why not get the 1.6 or a sport?

Thanks. Not after a new one, just a 2nd hand wing cause its cracked in two places, and i like the look of the sport bumper, wouldn't mind coded inserts in mine though.
The 1.2 was my mam's so she's got that back now. Its a nice 1.4 and was at the right price for my budget. I'm only 19 and insurance sucks.

If anyone is interested the products I used:
Tooth brush, toothpaste, scratch x and AG SRPolish for headlights
Tesco wheel cleaner and a flash sheeps wool brush
AG active insect remover and a meshed sponge for lower body parts
Ag Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner with a meg's wash mit
AG clay kit
AG aqua dry
Meg's scratch X to remove some clearcoat imperfections

1 Coat (didn't have time to do more) of :
AG Ultra deep shine, turtle wax microfibre sponge and Hi-Tech Finishing Cloth
AG extra gloss protection and perfect polishing cloths
AG HD WAX

AG Instant Tyre Dressing
AG fast glass
AG vynil and rubber care - Interior, exterior and engine bay trim
AG Interior shampoo on matts

It had 2 bald at the front and 2 rear that were nearly bald, replaced the front, waiting for pay day to replace the rear.
I did clay the bodywork, the clay took LOADS off I had to use 4 different pieces that were all fairly large.

Head unit is behind it, its just a cover to stop prying eyes on my dvd player.
This is what the head unit looks like, got a crack in, was like that when i bought the car, getting it fixed soon.
