TBH i cant tell any difference in power from the stainless one - obviously the noise is gone but thats about it - its still as quick as ever only im no longer getting deafened....which is nice!

The de-cat is still on and im gonna take it on a longish run tonight to see if high-end power is still there.....and if it still pops....!

tbh the de-cat will make most the difference with an exhaust.

My K-Tec exhaust made a slight difference, but the difference was huge when I put the de-cat on.

Yeah, I changed over from the stainless back box that came on my Williams to a standard system. Theres no difference at all, although I expect that the original spec one will die a lot quicker.

Having come from a Valver that had an IK, de-cat and stainless system I reckon that the IK makes the car sound best, whereas the other bits just added noise! (although the de-cat was an ace bit of kit for the price - Ill get a silenced one for the Williams some time).

True m8 - i have to say that only have driven it back from kwik-fit i already think its much better now - even if it will need replaced it at some point. TBH, i now think willy/valvers have enough road presence without the added noise of a big-bore - each to their own though! Still, if i wanted to get every last bhp from the car i might be thinking different.....

The only problem now is that apparently my dad is concerned im becoming respectable.....

What exhaust is it you took off? Im not sure whether to buy a magnex system at the end of the month or not now!

I took a BB Performance Tuning Cat-Back system off but kept the de-cat on.

Would certainly recommend one as they fit well and certainly on my car, popped and flamed on every drive....check their website for info though....
